A couple pictures of Matt Wilks, a new birth, and a couple random road pix

Matt is back in the US now, but we enjoyed him being here.
This picture is of Rich, Matt, and Veasna one morning.  Matt is just getting ready to teach.  Veasna was his translator.
I told Matt that I was going to put this picture on the blog, since he gave me a goofy face.
He taught Bible Geography to our students.  He gave each of our students 18 maps, which was great as most of their Bibles don't have maps in the back.
We hope he will be able to come again.
On Sunday, we got to see a new sister born into Christ.  Her name is Da.  She has been visiting for some time.
We rejoice with her in her decision.  She and Bora (the guys with his back to the camera baptizing her) will be engaged shortly.
These next pictures of just ones I took along the road.
We passed this van on the highway from Siem Reap.  As we passed the van, I noticed that there were probably 30 people inside the van, so I think these guys are the lucky ones.

This pickup was going down the road in front of me in Phnom Penh.  I couldn't tell what the stuff was that they were hauling.  Any guesses?
It is thousands and thousands of straws.  Just normal drinking straws.  He was really loaded down.  The truck is just a small sized pickup.

This was also out on the highway.  There are so many people and stuff in the van that sometimes people ride on the top.  I don't know if you can tell, but this is one of the main highways that they have been working on for at least a year and a half.  The road is terribly torn up.  I don't know how this guy stays on the top.

Well, we hope that all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and continue to thank God for all the abundant blessings that he has given you.

Rich's mom and grandmother are here now and are just going and doing with us to see what our normal days are like.  The Khmers can't believe that they made the long trip.  We are thrilled to be able to share our lives with them.
Much love,
Ronda
