David Burton and Steve and Pat Hollingsworth visited.

I know...I am way behind.

David Burton is from Idalou, TX.  He actually was here in Phnom Penh before we got back from the US.  David taught our students on the miracles in the book of John.

We hope he enjoyed his time here.  It was nice to get to know David while he was staying with us.  We hope he will come again.

While David was here, my cousin, Steve Hollingsworth and his wife, Pat, came to visit.  Steve was lecturing at a university in China and they came after he was finished there.

We didn't have a lot of time to see much of the country, but we did manage to go to Kirirom to the waterfall.  We had wonderful guides to the falls in the way of 5 dogs.  They seemed to enjoy having the company as much as we enjoyed them.
It was about a 45 minute hike to the falls.  We managed to climb around on the rocks and get our feet wet.
We enjoyed some of the beauty that God created for us and then we walked back to the car.  Since it is the start of the rainy season, there wasn't anyone else around (not high season).  We had the entire place to ourselves (other than the dogs).

Steve and Pat left the morning of August 5th to head to Bejing before returning to the US.  That afternoon, we left for the Asian Mission Forum in the Philippines.

I'll tell you about that on the next blog that I will post in a few days.

To get you up to date at CBI, Rich is teaching Jeremiah to our older students in the mornings.  Our friend, Greg Fleming, from Midland, TX is here teaching Matthew to our newer students in the mornings.  Veasna is teaching Bible Basics to our newest student in the afternoon, while Dennis Welch is teaching Ephesians to the rest of the students.

Please keep the students, graduates and the work here in your prayers.  Please also pray for the government, as the prime minister is cracking down on the key people in the opposing party and throwing some of them in jail for speaking out against him or posting things on Facebook.  Pray for the sweet Christians here to be strong and stand in the face of the adversity that they confront as they spread the Good News here.

Much love, Ronda
