What a trip!!!

There is no way that I can do justice to the wonderful trip we had to the US!  Furthermore, you probably don't want to read that much information.  But we had a fast, fun, busy, encouraging, joyous, and full trip.  Here are some highlights, but there was so much more.

We flew into Richmond, VA to meet with Reuben, Emily and family.

Then we flew to OKC.  Knowing we had a LOT of stops in the central part of the US, we rented a car.

We drove to Midland, TX to see Rich's mom, brothers and families and grandmother.

While we were there, one of our 'old' youth group kids from San Angelo brought his family to see us.  We hadn't seen Philip Valadez in about 32 years.  It was great to get to visit with him and his family for a few minutes!

We also got to have breakfast with Greg and Cindy Fleming.

Traveling on to Houston, TX, we spent some time with Jason, Jess and Avery.

The last day we were there, Rebekah and her kids came down and we got to all play together.

While in Houston, we also got to have dinner with Matt and Lori Bell and visit with them.  We also got to see friends that we know at the Memorial Church of Christ.

Of course, we did enjoy all the terrific food that is the US!

After Houston, we drove up to Dallas to meet with college friends.  (When did we get so old??!)  We also got to have
breakfast with Dustin and Megan Jones.

From Dallas, we went to Broken Arrow, OK.

We have a sweet time of devotional with friends on Saturday night.  We worshipped with so many friends there on Sunday morning (they actually turned the lights out on us!!)  Then in the afternoon, we had a 'old' youth group reunion.  What a treat it was to see so many kids (ok, they aren't kids anymore, but they are our kids) and to catch up a bit.

Then we had to hurry and leave there in order to get to Whispering Hill Church of Christ for the evening service.  Again, many sweet faces that we love.  I was too busy visiting to take pictures!

We left Broken Arrow and traveled through Henrietta, stopping to see Keith Estes and then Little Rock, AR to see the Binkleys before arriving in Batesville.  We were able to see one night of North Heights' VBS.  This congregation has become very dear to our hearts as we have now worked together for 15 years.

We traveled on to Kansas City, KS to see Randall and Kassie and girls.  We were also able to catch up with Danny and MaryAnn Sitters.

Then we traveled back to Yukon, OK to see Rebekah and Evan and kids.

Then back to Virginia for a couple days before coming back home.

Again, there are too many of you to list all your names and how precious you are to us.  It is always a wonderful encouragement to see all of you.

We are abundantly blessed!!!  I can't imagine a better life that the one that we have.  God gave us a beautiful physical family and a sweet spiritual family.  You are all truly blessings to us.

We are now back home.  Rich started teaching the book of Revelation on Monday.

We love you all!  Stand firm in your faith!  I can't help but to think how great heaven will be when we are all there together.

PS.  Forgive the spacing.  I couldn't get things to move around like I wanted, I am trying to catch up from being gone, I don't have time to mess with it.  So, please, just enjoy the picture and skip over the format.
