Happy New Year!!

We hope you had a very Merry Christmas.  And we pray that this year draws you closer to God.

On Saturday, December 27, we took all our students as well as Sokha (our cook), Khemrin, Navy and their daughter, Nakhin to a buffet for Christmas dinner.

Alex and Kira Mills from Batesville, AR, left some money that we used for this.  As well as Greg Fleming from Midland, TX.  Believe me, they were appreciative!!

We booked a private room so that they could sing karaoke.  Not really Rich and my thing, but they had a good time.
We were teasing Sraynu about the pile of seafood shells that she had stacked beside her plate.  She is tiny!
This is one of the tables.

And this is the other table.

Again, they loved it!  Thank you for your prayers for these students and the school.  And, of course, thank you also for your continued financial support.

Khemrin gave his final in the book of Luke yesterday, December 31st.  He has been teaching Luke to all but 2 students.

Rich is in the middle of teaching I and II Thessalonians to our oldest two students.  He taught them Revelation before that.

Also, Teang, who is now in Battambang province, lacks a couple classes.  It is Thursday afternoon here, while I'm writing this, and Rich is teaching Teang online the book of Revelation.  I think I told you before that our graduate, Sokun, who lives in Battambang province taught Teang I and II Peter.  I think she needs one more class before she has completed all her classes at CBI.

When we start back on Monday, Khemrin will be teaching the older students (5 of them, I think) on Spiritual Formation while Rich will teach the newer students a New Testament basics class. (and finish teaching II Thessalonians in the afternoon, as well as Teang online).

We had a group from Georgia, Virginia, Ghana and South Aftrica here for a Disciple Making Seminar for the last 3 days.  Some of them have made several trips here.  Today they traveled to Battambang Province to hold the seminar there.  We enjoyed their lessons very much and am sure it was beneficial to the Khmers as well.

I had Bible covers made for our students as the Bibles here fall apart easily.  I thought you might like to see our "fabric store".  It is really just a stall in one of the markets here.

The fabric I wanted was about 4 more under where the girl is.  She has to pull out everything above  to get down the the fabric she wants.  I felt bad about not picking the fabric on top!
Then I walked down the aisleway and took it to a seamstress to make them.

Much love to you all!!  Thank you for blessing us with the opportunity to serve God in this place.
