More pictures of camp and updates

I thought that I would post some more pictures of our camp.  I know that Rich posted some on an earlier blog, so if you missed it, go back a blog post.  This was our 3rd nationwide camp.

It seems that we just can't make a trip without car trouble.  This time is was one blowout in the tire wall. Then, on the way to get it replaces a couple days later, the car overheats.
It is holding the umbrella.  The Cambodian people REALLY don't like to be in the sun.
One of the games we were playing to get to know each other at the start of the camp.

And you can't be at the coast without beautiful water pictures!

Kimsroeun, one of our students leading singing one night.
 Singing together.
 Eating together.
Rich had the lesson on Sunday morning.  Our theme was "The Love of God"
The camp is split up into 4 groups.  Each group is responsible for different chores 3 times a day.  Rich's group was on helping with the meal, serving the meal and washing dishes on this particular occasion.

My (Ronda's) group won!  We were simply the best!
The camp!!!  It is wonderful for the Christians here to get to be together and encourage each other.
Some of our classes.  The classes were divided into men's, women's and children's classes; and then those were divided into 3 age brackets.
I taught about 14 ladies over the age of 25.

Lomang, after playing one of the games.
Beautiful sunsets!  God richly blessed us with these days.

As for an update, Rich is now teaching Luke to all but one of our students.  I am having Khemrin teach me the book of Philippians in 9 lessons, plus memory work and reading.
Veasna is teaching Spiritual Formation to all the students in the afternoons.

One thing I thought was interesting...Phyllis is one of the American teachers at the BEST Center, teaching English this month.  She also does sign language.  On Sunday, we had a lady and boy come to services that couldn't hear.  Of course, Phyllis doesn't know Khmer (Cambodian language).  I translate for English speakers during our class and service time.  So, I was translating from Khmer to English; Phyllis was listening to me on her headphones and then translating that into sign language.   Some of the signs are different here than in the US, but we hope they understood most of the lessons.

Tomorrow night is graduation, so we will be blogging on that next.  Please keep us, the student, our graduates and the Christians here in your prayers.

Much love,
Ronda
