New Year's Fellowship
Several of our students are from Battambang Province, but from different villages.
We stopped at Jenthra's house for lunch on the way. These 2 pictures are at her house.
Not all of our students could come as some had university classes that they couldn't miss.
Then at supper time, we drove on to Sokun's house in another village in Battambang Province. Sokun graduated from CBI ten years ago and he and Soklee do a great job in their village.
Sokun is very active in the community and has been able to reach many people because of that.
This is a group of teenagers that meet several times a week to sing praises to God. Isn't that great!
Thursday night, we split up and stayed in the houses of our students.
The next day, we drove into Battambang City just to spend a little time looking around before going out to the place where the fellowship was.
This is us!
We stayed in tents in a park area by a river.
This is the group on Friday night, December 31st. We didn't get a count of how many were there, but there were Christians from several places in Battambang Province, Siem Read and Phnom Penh.
Please pray that we will be faithful and serve God well in this new year. Pray for our students that their hearts may truly be touched by God's Word. Pray for the Christians here; for their faith to grow and for them to be examples to all around them.
May you grow closer to God in 2022.
Much love,
Ronda
