January and February!

January 23rd and 24th, we had Graduates Meetings.  This is a time that we invite out graduates back to fellowship and teach.  It is a fun homecoming, especially for those in villages that are somewhat isolated.  It is also great for them to interact with our current students to give them some encouragement and insight.

These are most of the graduates that were able to come back this time.  Rich tries to schedule it on a holiday, so there is a greater chance that they can attend.

They teach in the mornings and then eat lunch together. I am sorry that I didn't get pictures of the morning meetings.

The afternoon is Bible games and a time for sharing.

Then in the evening, we eat together and play games.

We love to see our students come back and get to study and sing with us.  Because of Covid, we haven't had one in a long time so this one was especially sweet.

On January 28th, we had a Women's night.  In the past, I have planned and organized these.  I am delighted that they have decided to take this activity on themselves.

This group includes ladies from 2 different congregation.
We ate together.  The girls organized a devotional time.

Then, of course, there is the silly games.  This game consisted of 4 people at a time had to spin around 3 times, then run to the table and eat a banana as fast as they could.

Some were great at it!  And some were too busy laughing to eat the banana.  But a great time was had by all.

February 25th, we had another Women's night with the same format.
Again, there were women from both congregations.  They really enjoy getting together.  Our kids at CBI routinely enjoy playing soccer against the students at the BEST Center (both the guys and the girls).  But this includes some additional ladies.

They do a great job of making it a time of encouragement in the Word as well as fun and fellowship.

And then, you have the games.

These Women's Nights are to be monthly with the next one coming on March 25th.  Thank you all for being a part of these ladies lives, either in prayer for them or funds to allow them to come to Phnom Penh and have places to study Bible as well as live and eat.  And also, for the funds to support evenings like this.

Last Saturday, Rich and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary.  Words cannot describe how God has blessed our lives in abundant ways.  Many of you have been a part of our lives for a lot of years.   You are part of our great blessings.  We aren't sure how we have gotten so old, but it has been wonderful!

Much love to you all,
Ronda
