Jerry Lundy, wedding, and sights around town
Jerry Lundy from Broken Arrow was able to come and teach at CBI for 2 weeks. He taught on Ephesians.
Khemrin's mom and aunt came into Phnom Penh from their village and brought us a pineapple right off the tree.
This was his 5th trip to Cambodia. He also taught one course online to our students during Covid.
We are grateful that he is willing to come and share God's Word with our students. They enjoy getting to hear different teachers and we think it is good for them to hear different teaching styles.
Khemrin translated for Jerry while he was here.
Please keep them in your prayers as they start their lives together. Pray that their faith will grow and be stronger as they work together for the Lord.
Just a note: while we were there, we stayed in the Classy Hotel.
It has to be good, right!?! It says it is classy in the name! (Actually, it was nice.)
This is the congregation that 2 of our graduates, Sokun and Soklee, started and work in.
It was wonderful to get to worship with all of these sweet brothers and sisters.
When they first started this congregation, they met under a tree. If it was raining, Sokun would clean out the concrete slab of the pig pen and they would meet there.

Now you can see they have a nice, workable building. The Lavender Church of Christ in Singapore helped them with part of the funds to build this and the church in Moung Russey worked to get the rest of the money. It makes a huge difference that they were willing to put in their own money and work to make this happen.
I want you to understand that it is because of your love for the lost and your willingness to support the work here that Sokun and Soklee were able to come to CBI and study God's Word and then plant this congregation. This is God's Word done through you!!
This girl has been sitting behind our neighborhood temple in the evenings.
The only thing she sells is duck and chicken eggs.
I was in the grocery store yesterday (the foreigner grocery store, not the market) and saw this lovely selection of chips.
And no, we haven't tried out the ones on the top 2 rows.
Just a beautiful work of God that I saw from my roof as I was getting the clothes off of the line.
Don't we serve an amazing God!!!
Much love to you all!
