Rejoice with us!!!

Praise God!!  Aleab decided to dedicate his life to the Lord.

Aleab is the nephew of Navy.  We are so excited for his decision.  He has been at CBI for over 2 years now.

His brother is Lymeng, another one of our students. Aleab was raised in Battambang by his grandmother.  Lymeng spent many years at CBI, being raised by Navy.

Please keep Aleab in your prayers.  Pray that he will grow in his faith and serve the Lord all his life.

As we do almost every month, we had a Ladies Night on March 29th.

They play the funniest games.

This one, they were playing soccer (in the house, so mildly).  But they had to wear these blinders on their face so they could only see just a small area of the floor.
The other game was a relay.  They had to hit the balloon up, put on a Tshirt and take it off, all the while hitting the balloon to keep it off the floor.
Then they would hand the Tshirt to the next person who did the same.  The rest of the team couldn't help hit the balloon up, so they just screamed when it was getting near the ground.
IT was a great time of fun and fellowship.

There won't be a Ladies Night this month as Khmer New Year is next week.  Most of our students and much of the workforce will go back to their villages.  Our students will study on April 11th and then begin again on the 22nd.  A lot of businesses will be closed for a week.

Today, Kakada came in from his village and taught our students about his work as a preacher.   Rich will teach the Work of the Preacher for the rest of this week.

The other day, when I was walking I heard music and then saw this.

This business must have had a grand opening or requested a "blessing" of some sort.   They were doing some traditional dancing - as much as you can on the side of the road.
I didn't try to get a better picture as the road was already blocked up, but thought you might enjoy these.

Like I said, we will have the Khmer New Year next week, and therefore a break from school.  We will probably just stay in the city and enjoy Phnom Penh without all the traffic and relatively quiet.

Thank you so much for your love, prayers and support.  We love getting to live here and watch as our students accept the Lord and learn about God's Word.  We love watching the church grow both in numbers and in their faith.

Much love,
