Across the border
We were able to run across the border this past weekend and do some teaching for the church there. They were all very kind and seemed eager to learn more. Saturday morning, we took a taxi for about 45 minutes to the other side of the city before then taking motos on to the place where we met. As you can see in the 3rd picture, we wore facemasks (lots of the people here wear them - usually for air pollution) along with the helmets so that we didn't stand out quite so much (not so much white skin showing). I didn't see any other foreigners in the part of the city that the church meets; whereas there are a lot of foreigners/tourist in the part of the city where we stayed. Once we were in the house where we met, we did not go back outside until time to leave. And even then, we put on our masks and helmets before going out of the house.
