Across the border
They were all very kind and seemed eager to learn more.
Saturday morning, we took a taxi for about 45 minutes to the other side of the city before then taking motos on to the place where we met. As you can see in the 3rd picture, we wore facemasks (lots of the people here wear them - usually for air pollution) along with the helmets so that we didn't stand out quite so much (not so much white skin showing). I didn't see any other foreigners in the part of the city that the church meets; whereas there are a lot of foreigners/tourist in the part of the city where we
Rich and Dennis taught from 9am to 3pm. The 1st two pictures is of the group that met on Saturday. Then we met with them Sunday morning, Rich preached, and we returned home to Phnom Penh.
The church there asked us to come help. The plan is to once a month have a couple people go over and teach one weekend. Normally, it will be one of our graduates as well, but since this is the first time, we wanted to go check it out first.
Please pray for this work and that we will be able to continue to help them grow without interference from the government.
Much love, Ronda
