Srae Ambel Church Camp - Day 3

This is a picture of all of us.  What an excellent time we had to spend together.  To study, talk, share, work and laugh together.

Sokun, who I already talked about in the last blog, was kind of the MC for the morning devotional time.  It is always great to get to see him.
I just thought these boys looked sweet.  They were on the 2nd row, singing along with everyone.  They are from the congregation in Siem Reap.
This is Rong.  He led a prayer this morning.
I wanted to tell you that the first time he did a chapel talk at CBI, I thought he was going to throw up.  He kept gulping for air and I really thought that he was going to be sick.
Now, here he is, standing in front of over 100 people.  So much growth on his part.
The best part of the day was welcoming in a new brother.  Khemrin is one of our students at CBI.  We are so excited to get to be a part of this new birth and to watch him grow in the Lord.
And here are our students that went to camp. (Some of our students did not go as they also work jobs that didn't allow them this time away.) Instead of paying for them to go to camp, Rich decided that it would be better for them to pay half of the fee themselves.  It really helped them to feel a part and want to make it a really great time.

And, as our free time was over, and Rich and I were getting out of the water, we looked back to the east and this is what we saw - a beautiful rainbow.  And, pictures of rainbows are never as good as the real thing.  This one was just beautiful.
This is Chanreas, another one of our students at CBI.  He led the singing for the evening worship time.
Rich's topic for Night #3 was We Are God's Family.
Using a GREAT illustration of us being sons of God, he showed a picture of him with our 3 sons and our son-in-law.  (well, I thought it was a great illustration anyway!)
And then, we are the Bride of Christ.  And really, is there a more beautiful bride than in this picture (if you can't tell clearly, this is my daughter, Rebekah walking toward Rich before her wedding).

Rich went on to talk about that we are brothers and sisters and how as a family, we are bonded together.  And how we can encourage and helpE each other as a family of God.

This was Rich's last talk as we packed up our tents, ate breakfast, cleaned the camp area and headed home the next morning.

Everyone was uplifted and encouraged.  Many were already talking about how they were going to tell other members of their congregation that they needed to start saving their money to come next year.  We praise God for His creation, for His allowing us to have safe trips to and from camp, and giving us a sweet time together.
Much love, Ronda
