Some of our graduates were back!

Some of our graduates got to come back for a time of study and fellowship on Thursday and Friday.

We started Thursday morning with an hour of singing.
Then, Veasna taught on Ephesians 4:1-6. ( I didn't get a picture of him on Thursday.)

Then Borey taught on Ephesians 4:7-16.  Borey is one of our graduates working in his village in Prey Veng province.  He is an excellent teacher and has a good heart for the Lord.
Soklee then taught on Ephesians 4:17-32.  Soklee lives in Battambang province and he works with Sokun in their village.
When Soklee first came to the school, we couldn't get him to talk at all.  He was so shy.  It is wonderful to see what a good teacher he has become. And he teaches with boldness.

We ate lunch together and then in the afternoon, played some Bible games and just had a good time with the current students getting to know some of our graduates.
Friday morning, we started out with singing again.  It is encouraging to get to sing with these sweet souls that just a short time ago didn't know God.
This is the other side of the room during the singing time.  Rich is just sitting out of the picture.
The teaching on Friday started with Veasna teaching on Ephesians 5:1-21.  If you have forgotten, Veasna works with Rich at the school as a teacher and translator.
Sokun did an excellent job teaching Ephesians 5:22-33.  He works with Soklee in Battambang.  They are doing a good work in their village as well as the neighboring village.
 Nuon taught on Ephesians 6.
Nuon and another man and their families have moved to Pursat province.  The government established a new town and sold land at a reduced price, so Nuon and Pisat thought this would be a good place to establish a congregation.
Of course, lunch was wonderful and much enjoyed.
Just some shots of the kids eating lunch together.
This is Phally, a graduate; Seenuon, our cook; and Sophea, who will graduate next month.
 From left to right are:
Khemrin; Thy and Tong, 2 of our newest students; Soklee and Nuon.
Veasna; Tola, another one of our new students, and Samrach.
Then Rich with Aet and Sokun.
It is really fun for them to get to sing, study and play all together.  It is a huge encouragement to our graduates, who many are out in villages working by themselves .
And it is good for our current students to hear about the graduates work.
Friday afternoon was a time the graduates talked about their respective works; the blessings and difficulties.  This enabled them to share and help work together to see what works best in different situations. And to let them see that much of the time, they are experiencing the same things in different parts of the country.
And this is the group that got together and played Bunco on Friday night, before most of the graduates headed back home.  This picture is missing a few, but that's most of them.
We had a great time.  It is always wonderful to get our "kids"  back and get to visit with them for a bit.

Much love,
Ronda
