While the Aggies were here

I gave you just a little bit of information when the Aggies for Christ were here. Here are a few pictures, and I will put on more later, of some of what they did.
The first picture is a couple of the girls with some of the orphanage girls in their room. I don't know if you can see or not, but there are 2 sets of bunkbeds in each room.
The 2nd picture is some of the Aggies, Rich and some of our students along with the kids at TNT, where the orphanage is. They feed a lot of kids there with the Nutrition program, not just
those at the orphanage.
The other group of Aggies and the other half of our students went to another couple villages with the Nutrition truck.
The last picture is the kids standing in line for food. A lot of sweet souls to be won for the Lord!
As for us now, our street is paved now past us, so after 5 days, hopefully we can get our car out of the garage. Since there are motodopes (moto taxis) and tuk tuks all over, transportation is not a problem, but not nearly so convenient as our car, especially for
trips to the grocery store, etc.
Watching them pave the road was something to see. I know I told you a long time ago how they lay the rocks across the street by hand, fitting them together. Then they pour sand over that, by hand. They use baskets that look like the bottom of a shovel and 'sprinkle it on'. While this is going on, the entire family (they all have their part, except the little ones), lived on our sidewalk. They ate, washed clothes, etc. for the fews days while there were working on our road. Now, they have a concrete mixer - not a truck, but a single one on wheels - that they pour the stuff into, mix, put in a wheelbarrow that 4 of them push down the road to the place it is to go. There, they have laid a kind of framework made out of split bamboo poles and they pour, by buckets, the cement into it about 4 feet long at a time. Then a couple guys with 6' boards work to spread it all out evenly. It is really something. Even doing it all by hand, they get their road construction done before the US does. Start to finish has been about 5 days to completely pave a road. It will be really nice now and cut down on the dirt in the house not to mention the mud when we walk.
Well today is my brother in Conneticut's birthday. I hope he has a wonderful day with his sweet family. Rebekah turned 18 June 12th. Rich's birthday is Friday, the 20th. And then my sister in Idaho has her birthday on the 22nd. Along with an aunt and uncle, June is a big month for birthdays. Know that we love you all. Ronda
