5 of our students

Here is a couple pictures of some of our students.  The guys above are:  Nuan, Wanna, and Sokan.  Awhile back, I wrote a blog about a wedding that Rich and I stood in as the parents of the groom - Nuan is that groom.  He's the one on the left.  He is older than most of our students and is a hard worker and great Bible student.  Wanna, the one in the middle is our newest student.  He was just baptized last week!!!!  So keep him especially in your prayers.  He is kind and friendly and always has a good attitude.  Good student as well.  Sokan doesn't have too much more school.  Most weekends, he goes with Sophal, an older man that is studying with us, to his village.  It is Lvea.  It is a new congregation.  After he graduates, he plans to go back and work with the Lvea congregation as well as perhaps establish one closer to his village.  He also studies English with me in the evenings.
Sraytouj is the girl that is standing and Phally is sitting in the orange top.  Sraytouj is one of our best students.  She always has one of the highest grades.  She is very sweet.  She comes from a village where the church was started about 4 years ago.  I think she is scheduled to graduate in April or May.  Phally came to us because she is a friend of Navy, Tawn's wife.  She is always smiling.  For the girls, what they do after school is a little more difficult.  Of our 3 girl graduates, 2 married preachers and the other one works for the Snack Program here, feeding kids and teaching nutrition in the villages.
It is so nice to get to have chapel with the students each morning to visit, then sing and listen to them teach.  On Tuesdays, we split up the guys and girls and we (girls) go upstairs where the girls take turns teaching.  You would be impressed with their Bible knowledge and their applications for their lives(both the guys and the girls).
Much love. Ronda
