Evangelism Week

These are our students now.  They can and do smile...a lot.  But when you take pictures, they get very serious looking.  Oh, well.  They are really sweet.
Here is an update on our Evangelism week that we had.
Each day, the students are divided into 2 groups.  Rich takes half and Dennis takes the other half.  Each group goes to a different village every day.  I know that the names of places won't make any difference to you, but I will try to give you a short overview.
Monday - Rich to TNT (orphanage there).  About 48 kids and 12 teens and adults meet to study.  Dennis went to Saang.  I posted the picture of the couple there with their store earlier.  They had about 70 kids come to sing and study.
Tuesday - Rich to Rangdak - the student taught door to door and then later 43 kids came to study as well as 12 adults.  Dennis went to Takeo and visited with the people there.
Wednesday - Rich took his group to Throul Pang Lpboac which is a new village.  The students met with people in their homes as they were busy working in the fields, it was difficult to have a central meeting.  Dennis went to Krang Dong, where one of our first graduates live.  They had many kids come to sing and study.
Thursday - Rich went to Prayvang, which is a new work.  It is Borey's village; he is one of our last graduates and is just getting the church started here.  They had about 20 kids and 23 adults and tenns meet to listen as the students taught.  Dennis went to Sra Sdac (I have no details on this place)
Friday - Rich went to San Sok, which is an area close to the Phnom Penh airport.  The students went house to house, as well as had a meeting for the kids at 1pm.  Many kids and 12 teens.  Dennis went to Throul Pang Patrea on this day with his group.

As most of this country is agricultural - rice farming, we have to work around that.  Like anywhere, depending on rain, when the rice was planted, replanted, etc, all dictates when the villagers are busy in the fields.  So, we do the best we can.  Teach when we can, help when we can, visit with them in their houses and in the fields.  We usually have a pretty good number of kids.  Please keep praying for our efforts and the work of our students in their villages.  Love, Ronda
